MY ROLES

This is a short film that Josh Friend and I produced. Josh is a good friend of mine that I met at University, we have a common passion for film making amongst other things. After finishing our first year exams we decided to celebrate by making a short film. This is what we produced.

Rather than making a longer piece, we decided to make a simple film that was about 1-2 minutes long. This then allowed us to focus on our weaknesses, which were previously lighting and sound.

My main roles were directing and cinematography. I operated the camera as there was only Josh and I working on the project and Josh was acting. This is something that I normally would not do. However, on this occasion I fancied having a go. Turns out it was a success and very addictive role.

Overall, I am very happy with the outcome of this little project. It has opened our eyes to our potential in this industry and has inspired to work harder to achieve our dreams.
